UPPER SETI – SHORT BUT SWEET!

Flowing from Mount Fishtail, this fantastic little river is a hidden gem. Just half an hour from Lakeside you can enjoy 90 minutes of excellent whitewater with an almost continuous run of grade 3 and 4 rapids. This half day trip is perfect for anyone wanting some instant white water action.

Departs from: Lakeside, Pokhara.

Departure Time: 9 am & 1 pm

Put In: Upper Seti Bamboo Bridge (approx 1/2 hr by bus from Lakeside, Pokhara)

Take Out: Upper Seti Dam (20mins to Lakeside, Pokhara)

Returns to: Lakeside, Pokhara (see map here)

Return Time: 1 pm & 5 pm

Baggage: None needed – it's only a half-day trip!!

Meals: 1 x Lunch

Included: Raft Guides, Safety Kayakers, Support Staff, Rafting equipment, inc. CE-rated helmet and buoyancy aid, Spray Jacket, Wetsuits if required, Lunch, Transportation to and from the river, Waterproof ‘Pelican’ boxes, and Dry Bags.

Trip Details

Departs from Lakeside, Pokhara at 9 am or 1 pm and drive to our put-in point on the Upper Seti River.

We start with a safety demonstration and instruction on different paddling techniques and then we set off to take on the exciting rapids of the Upper Seti.

After our journey downriver we enjoy a picnic beside the river before returning to Pokhara by 1 pm or 5 pm.

Guide Team is trained to international standards in Safety and First Aid and holds current Wilderness First Aid, CPR, and WRT qualifications!
