Sunrise and panoramic mountain views
This is one of the most scenic teahouse treks in the Annapurna region. From Ghorepani village (2,800m) you arise early in the morning for a spectacular 360 degree view of the whole Annapurna range, including the snowy peaks of the Annapurna South and Macchupucchare. You continue to the Gurung village of Ghandruk. The Gurung originally migrated from western Tibet. They are renowned for their exotic traditional dress, the key feature being a neck ornament made of coral, gold and turquoise beads for the women. Many aspects of their culture can be seen in the local museum.
